Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has officially opened its doors in Thailand with the launch of Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit, a 474-key luxury hotel located in the heart of Sukhumvit Soi 20. Developed in collaboration with Asset World Corp (AWC), this new establishment aims to be more than just a hotel, serving as a social hub for international travellers, Bangkok residents and the city's business and creative communities.

The hotel features a unique 'Blooming Stage' concept, inspired by Thailand's botanical heritage, with a striking chandelier in the lobby modelled after the golden Ratchaphruek, Thailand’s national flower. The property offers a range of accommodations, from Fairmont King Rooms to the expansive 280-square-metre Presidential Suite, which includes a gym, treatment room and bespoke bar.

Dining options are plentiful, with seven restaurants and bars set to open throughout 2026. Highlights include Harper’s, a North American-French brasserie, and AELA Social Bar, which transitions from a daytime lounge to a cocktail destination. The hotel will also introduce Wiggle Room, a supper club with live music and theatrical performances, in mid-September.

Wellness is integrated throughout the hotel, with Fairmont Spa offering treatments inspired by jasmine, and the Fairmont Fit programme providing wellness touchpoints. The hotel also boasts over 2,000 square metres of event space, including the Signature Grand Ballroom, making it a prime location for large-scale events.

Omer Acar, CEO of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, expressed enthusiasm about the opening, stating, “Thailand’s gracious hospitality, rich cultural heritage, and deep-rooted appreciation for connection make it a natural home for Fairmont.” Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit is now accepting reservations for stays from 18 August 2026.
