Air Astana resumes Astana to Seoul services

Air Astana has started sales for services from Astana to Seoul, with twice weekly frequency operated by Airbus A321LR commencing on 15th June 2024. The Astana to Seoul service was first launched in 2015 and suspended in 2020 due to covid.

The new services from Astana to Seoul will be operated in addition to the daily flights from Almaty to Seoul, with all services operated on a codeshare basis with Asiana Airlines. Services between Almaty to Seoul were first launched in 2003, with approximately 800,000 passengers having travelled on the route over the past 22 years.

Air Astana’s other new 2024 Summer Schedule services include increases in the frequency of flights from Almaty to Uzbekistan’s capital, Tashkent up to 14 times a week; to Kyrgystan’s capital, Bishkek up to eight times a week and Tbilisi up to nine times a week; to Tajikistan’s capital, Dushanbe up to four times a week; to Azerbaijan’s capital and to Baku up to three times a week.
