The ATxSummit 2026, set to take place from 20 to 21 May at Capella Singapore, will bring together over 4,000 leaders from more than 50 countries to explore the transformative impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on economies, industries, and societies across Asia. Organised by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and Informa, the summit will delve into the intersection of AI with innovation, public good, and digital growth.
Prominent figures such as Ajay Banga, President of the World Bank Group, and Denise Dresser, Chief Revenue Officer of OpenAI, will discuss AI's role in shaping the next decade. Other notable speakers include David Zapolsky, Chief Global Affairs & Legal Officer of Amazon.com Inc, and Jane Sun, CEO of Trip.com Group, who will address AI's influence on industry and workforce evolution.
The summit will also feature discussions on AI governance, scientific discovery, and the deployment of AI for public good. Kiren Kumar, Deputy Chief Executive of IMDA, emphasised the importance of collaboration in digital economies, stating, "AI is no longer confined to the lab. It is being built into real-world systems and is fast becoming core infrastructure for economies."
The event will commence with a Gala Dinner on 19 May, attended by President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, and will include a keynote speech by Josephine Teo, Minister for Digital Development and Information. The ATxEnterprise exhibition, running from 20 to 22 May at the Singapore Expo, will complement the summit with 700 exhibitors and 450 speakers addressing complex issues related to AI deployment and digital infrastructure
