Global hospitality firm Banyan Group is set to embark on a new chapter of growth in 2026 after reaching a significant milestone of operating 100 resorts worldwide.
The company plans to expand into new markets, including Africa and the Caribbean, whilst enhancing its multi-brand portfolio and guest experiences.

The year that was
In 2025, Banyan Group celebrated the opening of its 100th resort, Mandai Rainforest Resort in Singapore, and raised over $440,000 (SGD 600,000) for charity.
The Group also expanded its branded residences portfolio and received global recognition for design and sustainability.
Looking ahead, Banyan Group plans to launch up to $1 billion in new luxury residential projects in Phuket over the next two to three years, solidifying its position as a leader in branded residential development.
Ongoing expansion
The Group's expansion includes the opening of Ubuyu, a Banyan Tree Escape in Tanzania, marking its debut in East Africa. In West Africa, Dhawa Ouidah will open in Benin.
The Caribbean will see the launch of Angsana Cap Cana and Cassia Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. In Europe, Mamula Island by Banyan Tree in Montenegro will reopen with enhanced features.
In Asia and the Middle East, Banyan Group will continue its multi-brand strategy with new openings, including Banyan Tree Guangzhou Jiulong Lake in China and Angsana Ashar Valley Tents in Saudi Arabia.
The Group will also expand its wellbeing-led guest experiences with the Banyan Tree Connections programme, available at additional resorts from April 2026.
