Best Western debuts in Cebu
Best Western has opened its first hotel in the Philippine city of Cebu.
The 10-storey Best Western Plus Lex Cebu Hotel is located in the centre of the city and features 83 rooms, including five suites, all equipped with LED televisions and complimentary Wi-Fi. Other facilities include a fitness centre, outdoor swimming pool and restaurant, plus two meeting rooms and a 120-pax capacity ballroom.
“The Philippines is one of the most exciting markets in Asia right now, and Cebu City is right at the heart of the country’s growth,” said Glenn de Souza, Best Western’s Vice President International Operations for Asia & the Middle East.
“With the Philippine government recently announcing plans to attract 10 million tourists by 2016, it’s easy to see the potential for development in the country. With its coastal location, easy accessibility and vast array of attractions, the future looks incredibly bright for Cebu City.”
Best Western Plus Lex Cebu Hotel will become the company’s sixth hotel in the Philippines, and the second upscale Best Western Plus-branded property.
