Yanqi Island, the MICE destination close to Beijing, has reopened for the summer.
Located 60km north of downtown Beijing, within Yanqi Lake, the island features a 594-room Kempinski-branded hotel, plus another 110-room property and 12 boutique hotels comprising 178 rooms.
It is also home to several F&B outlets, the 8,277m² Beijing International Conference Centre, and a Summer Garden, which features 40,000m² of ponds, hills, trees and waterfalls, plus a 60-metre-high pagoda with a viewing platform.
The venue has hosted a series of major international events, including APEC China, G20 Science, Technology and Innovation Ministers Meeting, and Belt and Road Forum.
