Dusit Princess Ipoh opens in Malaysia on 1 October

Dusit Hotels and Resorts, part of Thailand's Dusit International, is set to open Dusit Princess Ipoh on 1 October 2026. This marks the company's third branded property in Malaysia. Situated just five minutes from Ipoh city centre, the 268-room hotel aims to provide a convenient base for exploring the cultural and natural attractions of Perak's capital.

Ipoh, known for its rich history and culinary traditions, offers visitors a unique blend of colonial-era architecture and multicultural cuisine. The city is famous for its dim sum and Ipoh white coffee, attracting food enthusiasts from around the world. The surrounding Kinta Valley, with its limestone formations and cave temples, provides ample opportunities for nature excursions.

Owned by Plenitude Berhad, Dusit Princess Ipoh will feature five room categories, ranging from Superior Rooms to Family Suites, all equipped with modern amenities like high-speed Wi-Fi and smart TVs. The hotel also boasts an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre, and multiple dining options, including The Atrium, which offers panoramic views of Ipoh's limestone hills.

The hotel will serve as a venue for various events, with three flexible spaces, including the 496.8 sq m Kinta Ballroom. Chanin Donavanik, Group CEO of Dusit International, highlighted the potential for attracting international visitors, noting that Perak welcomed 23.6 million domestic visitors in 2025.

To celebrate its opening, Dusit Princess Ipoh is offering special rates starting at $57 (approximately RM 230) per night, including food and beverage credits, valid until 31 December 2026
