Evian Resort has announced the opening of La Source Vive, a 500-seat concert hall on the shores of Lake Geneva, set to open in June 2026.

This new venue will complement the resort's existing cultural programme, offering a dedicated space for chamber music, artistic residencies, and interdisciplinary collaborations.

Designed by architects Patrick Bouchain and Philippe Chiambaretta, La Source Vive features a flowing, shell-like form and acoustics designed to create an intimate setting. The venue will host chamber music, recitals, and contemporary performances, providing a year-round home for artistic creation. The hall's flexible stage and integrated recording studio will allow artists to rehearse, create, and record within the same space.

La Source Vive will join La Grange au Lac, the original home of Les Mélèzes, which opened in 1993. Known for its all-wood architecture and exceptional acoustics, La Grange au Lac will continue to host large-scale performances and orchestras. Together, these venues will enable Les Mélèzes to offer a diverse range of performances, from major symphonic works to intimate chamber music.

The 2026–2027 Les Mélèzes season will feature performances across both venues, including Musique à La Grange and Musique à La Source. Highlights include the Festival de l'Avent and the renowned Rencontres Musicales d'Évian, celebrating its 50th anniversary in summer 2026. This expansion marks a significant milestone for Evian Resort's cultural offerings, promising a vibrant future for music and the arts in the region
