Job Description

Global Land Supply is the Land division of Flight Centre Travel Group, and we are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant Team Leader to join our team!
The Accounts Payable area is the centralised point for invoice processing, supplier payments and supplier assistance regarding the resolution of any finance issues that may arise for our procurement business.  The Accounts Payable Assistant Team Leader is to assist the Team Leader in leading, motivating and training their team to ensure the long term, positive Accounts relationship with its Suppliers, Partners and customers. The Assistant Team Leader will also focus on the ongoing growth of Team Members, process improvements and efficiencies. 
A Day in the Life:

Professional and friendly in dealing with internal and external suppliers
Builds and sustains productive relationships
Query Resolution & Supplier, Partner & Customer Relationship
Proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement
Provide analysis and support to the management accounting team or liaise directly with selling partners
Business Management
Partnering and building relationships
Leadership of FCTG Accounts Customer Relations team
Intercompany journal and account balance G/L reconciliations
How we can count on you!
Experience in a leadership position
Fluency in financial concepts
Ability to think ‘outside the box’ and problem solve
Excellent back-office system knowledge 
Ability to interpret bank statements, supplier invoices/statements and documentation
Highly developed customer service skills to ensure mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers, partners and customers
Travel Industry knowledge (Desirable)
Accounts Payable or Procure To Pay experience (Essential)
Degree in Accounting/Finance /Commerce (Desirable)
