•Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve software issues on installed Building Automation Systems
•Development of program and graphics design for Building Automation projects
•Diagnose communication problems with control devices and other components
•Perform software preventative maintenance on installed Building Automation and Energy Management Systems.
•Create and maintain BMS documentation including Functional design and Software Test Documents
•Conform to project site safety and housekeeping requirements
•Develop and enforce software standards and processes
•May be asked to provide technical support to sales engineers and assist in development of new business opportunities
•Other duties may be assigned
Job Requirement
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required Skill(s): BMS, HVAC, Project Management, Electronics, PLC
• Understanding of HVAC, Building Automation, Energy Management or other control systems
• Programming and troubleshooting knowledge of industry standard protocols such as BACnet, MODBUS and LON.
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings and symbols
• Proficient in software applications including but not limited Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
• Basic IT troubleshooting skills
• Experience in PLC is an added advantage.
