I. JOB SUMMARY:
The position is responsible to ensure that all cash transactions are properly, completely and timely accounted for and/or recorded in the company’s books. The position is also responsible for the reconciliation of balances with Condominium Corporations.
II. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation for assigned bank accounts which includes the following tasks:
a. Monitoring of bank reconciling items including unrecorded cash transactions and ensure proper disposition thereof
b. Communicate unrecorded bank reconciling items with the concerned departments
c. Prepare bank recon adjusting entries as necessary
d. Clearing of cash in bank transactions in SAP
e. Preparation of Cash Balances Summary Report
• Inventory and recording of monthly unreleased checks
• Checking of requests for reprocessing of staled checks
• Monitoring of ADA payments
• Preparation of MS Excel templates on the assigned bank accounts for Condo Corp. Collections to be uploaded in SAP; consolidation of all templates prepared by the team for a single collection summary to be submitted to the immediate superior as the final template to be uploaded in SAP.
• Coordination with property management accounting for the reconciliation of balances with Condominium Corporations
• Other duties as needed or required.
• Assisting and reconciliation with other groups and departments as needed
III. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be a graduate of accounting-related course, preferably BSA
• At least 1 year relevant experience, preferably in a real estate company
• With working knowledge on using computerized accounting systems, preferably SAP
• Highly analytical and keen on details
• Proficient on using MS applications especially Excel
• Can work under pressure
• Willing to work beyond office hours when needed
• With good communications and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Fresh graduates may be considered
