We have an opportunity for a driven accountant who will provide support to the Financial Controller and Project Managers in our Property team, managing the accounting processes, reconciliations, journals and reviews of the fixed asset transactions.

The details:
Month end accounting and reporting, including Profit and Loss Reporting, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Cash Reconciliations and Asset Reconciliation
Maintain the Asset Register for the business, including additions and disposals
Track, Collate and Consolidate all project costs for property
Trade debtor and creditor management including preparation of bank files
Process internal charges including depreciation and property management fees
Assisting with audit workpaper compilation and queries
Ensure strong financial control and integrity
Assist with the implementation of systems and process improvement
Assist in ad-hoc projects as and when required
You’ll be perfect for this role if you can showcase:
Accounting degree (working towards CPA/CA would be beneficial but not essential)
1-2 years’ experience in a finance, role
MYOB experience essential
High level of expertise in Microsoft Excel
High attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop relationships at all levels
Ability to work independently and part of a team
High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change, growth and pressure
Proven time management and organisational skills
