Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, part of the global hospitality group Accor, has announced the opening of its first property in Vietnam, Fairmont Hanoi, set to welcome guests from February 2026. Located in the heart of Hanoi's Old Quarter, the hotel features 241 guest rooms, including 38 Fairmont Gold rooms and 12 suites, alongside eight dining venues and the city's largest pillarless ballroom. Designed by Perkins Eastman and Aston Design, the hotel aims to merge contemporary luxury with Hanoi's rich cultural heritage.
The hotel is positioned to become a social hub in Hanoi, offering a variety of culinary experiences. Celebrity Chef Luke Nguyen will lead Tran Dynasty, presenting a modern take on Vietnamese cuisine. Other dining options include Hiryu, inspired by Japanese culture, and Bacco, an Italian restaurant led by Michelin-starred Chef Nicolas Isnard. The Pool Terrace & Bar promises an elevated retreat with views over the city.
Fairmont Hanoi also boasts a comprehensive wellness facility, The Cirua Spa, Fitness & Wellness Club, which spans 38,000 square feet. It includes a signature bathhouse, hydrotherapy and thermal facilities, and a fitness studio. The hotel's MICE centre offers over 4,000 square metres of event space, including the Old Quarter's largest ballroom.
