Hilton signs first hotel in Mongolia

Hilton has announced the signing of Conrad Ulaanbaatar, marking its debut in Mongolia with a luxury hotel set to open in 2028. The 227-room hotel will be located in the Ulaanbaatar Eco Tower, a mixed-use complex in the city’s central business district, owned by Eco Construction LLC and managed by Hilton.

The new hotel aims to elevate Ulaanbaatar's status as a destination for international luxury travellers. Situated near key landmarks like Sükhbaatar Square and the National Art Gallery, Conrad Ulaanbaatar will feature four dining venues, nearly 1,800 square metres of meeting space, and comprehensive wellness facilities.

Qian Jin, president of Greater China & Mongolia at Hilton, stated, “Entering Mongolia with Conrad Hotels & Resorts marks a significant milestone in Hilton’s continued growth in the region. This signing reflects our confidence in the long-term potential of Mongolia.”

Nyamdavaa Samdan, President of Eco Construction LLC, highlighted the significance of the project, noting Mongolia's unique blend of adventure, nature, and culture. “With Hilton’s global expertise and our shared vision, Conrad Ulaanbaatar will create distinctive, unique experiences that resonate with discerning guests from around the world,” he said.

The signing adds to Conrad’s global portfolio, which includes nearly 100 properties across five continents. The development underscores Hilton's commitment to expanding in emerging cultural capitals where modern design and local identity intersect
