Involved Holidays boosts agent support for 2026 growth

Involved Holidays, a specialist walking tour operator, is set to strengthen its commitment to the UK travel trade in 2026 by expanding its product offerings and enhancing support for travel agents. Following a successful year of trade activity, the company plans to introduce new rail and e-bike options, alongside long-haul itineraries, to further boost its presence in the market.

The company aims to increase agent knowledge of its unique walking holiday options, which include no single supplement holidays and competitive commissions. Sales Director Richard Forde emphasised the strategic importance of the trade, stating, โ€œWe have exciting plans to continue spreading the word on our unique style of relaxed walking holidays for solo travellers. The strategic importance of the trade makes the travel agent community a priority and as such we want to continue our endeavour to educate.โ€

Involved Holidays will support these developments with new incentives, educational opportunities, and familiarisation (FAM) trips for agents. Forde added, โ€œWe have several fantastic additions to our itinerary choices coming, with rail and e-bike options launching in 2026, alongside some fabulous long haul itineraries. The details are under wraps for the moment but we urge agents to watch this space.โ€

Currently, Involved Holidays offers over 40 hiking holidays across the UK and Europe, catering to solo travellers, couples, and private groups. The tours, which include a mix of exploration and relaxation, are suitable for mixed abilities, with walks averaging five to nine miles. With more than 50 years of experience, the independently owned operator continues to provide unique guided walking holidays.
