Raffles Hotels & Resorts names Companion Communications as its regional agency

Companion will oversee public relations, marketing communications, strategic advisory, storytelling, partnerships, content creation, and crisis support for the hotel management firm

Raffles Hotels & Resorts announced the appointment of Asian PR and communications agency Companion Communications as its regional agency.

Per agreement, Companion will oversee public relations, marketing communications, strategic advisory, storytelling, partnerships, content creation, and crisis support for the hotel management firm throughout Asia. 

 Companion managing director Dominique Backhouse remarked: “We leverage local knowledge and deep industry insights to give clients a competitive edge. Getting to know Companion Communications

Founded in 2019, Companion offers a senior-led approach to communications, specialising in the travel, dining, and property industries. 

With offices in Hong Kong and Singapore, the agency brings together expertise across strategic public relations, corporate communications, content development, and social media.

Companion’s hospitality PR credentials continue to go from strength to strength, with a number of exciting wins across the sector in recent months. 

This includes the launch of Capella at Galaxy Macau in Macau, the launch of Andaz One Bangkok in Thailand and the global retainer for Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong.
