Jet2 has welcomed its 30th brand-new Airbus A321neo aircraft, marking a significant milestone in the airline's sustainability strategy. The aircraft, registration G-JZEA, embarked on its inaugural customer flight to Corfu from Manchester Airport. This addition is part of Jet2's commitment to a fleet of 155 Airbus A321neo aircraft, known for their fuel efficiency and reduced environmental impact.

The Airbus A321neo is celebrated for its eco-friendly credentials, boasting over 20% reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions per seat, alongside a 50% lower noise footprint compared to Jet2's current fleet average. This aligns with Jet2's broader sustainability initiatives, which include a multi-million pound retrofit programme for Boeing 737-800NG aircraft and electrification of over 50% of its ground service equipment.
