GCS Recruitment are searching for a Fully Qualified Accountant to work with one of the leading corporate service providers in Malta.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing financial statements for clients
Preparing management accounts
Carrying out reconciliations
Updating Financial Records
Preparing VAT and Tax Returns
Preparing information for the audit and liaising auditors
Budgets and forecasts
In-house reporting, as well as Ad-hoc reporting
Preparing and processing Client Payroll
Generating and invoicing clients
Monitoring of credit control and debt collecting
Carrying out bank payments

Requirements:

In possession of a degree in Accountancy or ACCA Qualification is essential
Previous experience within a similar role is a must
Knowledgeable in IFRS, GAPSE and GAPSME
Proficiency in Financial Software; such as Sage
Great communication skills; both written and verbal
Professional and positive attitude
Strong initiative with problem solving skills
Strongly organised with great time management skills
Great attention to detail
Team player
