Job Purpose
Assistant Account Manager is responsible for managing MICE accounts as assigned by Head of MICE / Director of MICE by liaising with potential customers / leads, proposing itineraries, provide quotation and costing, followed up and actioned accordingly. This individual is also responsible for the file management of group and site visits to any part of Thailand as required.
Role and Responsibilities
- Respond to clients through emails and call on their ‘on-going projects’ and constantly keep them informed on group updates while providing excellent customer service.
- Being key contact between clients and 3rd party or all concerned parties and ensure that service preform meet with clients’ expectations
- Partake in the business development program, including handling Familiarization Trips, Educational Programmes for potential MICE clients or Site Inspection Trips for existing clients to generate business
- When necessary, provide onsite support on events as directed by Head of MICE and Director of MICE
- Post-event survey management and post-event file closure process
- Ensure that the Company’s payment and cancellation policy is applied to the maximum by constantly liaising and following up with the clients to ensure that all deposits & payments are received before the group’s arrival in the destination.
Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or related field
- Capacity to provide excellence service that will surpass clients’ expectations
- Positive attitude, smart working and good team player
- Multitask, attention to detail, high organized and time management
- Broad knowledge of Meeting and Incentive Products across Thailand
- Hands-on experience in planning group incentives and meetings
- Minimum 3 year of work experience in similar field
- Very good command of English both written and spoken
- Networking ability with business partners in tourism industry
