Australia & New Zealand – Travel Specialist
Fantastic opportunity to join this Australasia specialist travel company. You will be using your specialist long haul travel knowledge to create tailor-made itineraries to Australia & New Zealand. You will be an experienced Travel Consultant, with a passion for travel and sales. This is a home based role offering a basic salary of £25k with an OTE of £30k+.

Australia & New Zealand – Travel Specialist – Role & Responsibilities:

• Build tailor-made itineraries according to customer requirements.
• Be pro-active in using specialist long haul knowledge to convert enquiries into sales.
• Respond in an efficient and timely manner to calls and emails from potential customers.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain rates & source product for bespoke tailor-made enquiries.
• Manage the end to end sales & customer service journey, ensuring customers are notified of any operational changes affecting their holiday.
• Handle any issues arising in an efficient customer focused way
• Provide an exceptional service to all customers via all channels.
• Actively contribute to achieving sales and service targets.

Australia & New Zealand – Travel Specialist – Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience in a travel tailor-made sales role, with a background in luxury tour operations.
• In depth knowledge of Australia & New Zealand, through own travelling and / or of putting together bespoke itineraries.
• Experience of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a genuine desire to exceed customers expectations.
• Good knowledge of supplier contracts and costing itineraries.
• Working knowledge of a travel GDS
• Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Flexible approach, with a pro-active creative approach to problem solving

Australia & New Zealand – Travel Specialist – Additional Information:

• Basic salary of circa £25k plus uncapped commission
• Home based role so need to have the space to do so
