Seeking a Business Travel Consultant for a well-established TMC based in the Birmingham Area.

This is an exciting opportunity if you have previous Business Travel experience as a highly successful Travel Management Company are looking for a Business Travel Consultant to be responsible for making travel arrangements for their clients.

A background arranging Business Travel is highly desirable as you will need to have strong knowledge of airlines, airlines and flight routings to be able to confidently advise and arrange all aspects of travel for your client.

Outstanding customer service is paramount as you will also be required to action all requests from the travellers as well as liaise closely with suppliers to maintain excellent working relationships.

Business Travel Consultant Responsibilities:

• Relationship management in supporting key relationships with internal customers to understand requirements as well as external suppliers
• Complete arrangement of travel requirements including flights, hotels, rail, car hire and transfers
• Always provide outstanding customer service
• Maintain administration standards and data records accurately and effectively

Business Travel Consultant Requirements:

• Proven background working in Business Travel or arranging Corporate Travel using a GDS
• Must be skilled in either Galileo, Sabre or Amadeus
• Proven ability of delivering excellent customer service
• Excellent telephone manner and proven ability to build rapport with customers

If successful you will be awarded a salary of up to £25K (depending on experience) Monday – Friday hours – on a small rota with the option to a 6.30am start and homeworking once established.
