European Regional Service Director – Edinburgh. A fantastic opportunity to join a global online ecommerce business based in Edinburgh, where you will be responsible for transforming and rapidly expanding their customer contact centres to meet the needs of their European markets.

European Regional Service Director Responsibilities

Reporting to the Global Head of Service and European General Manager, you will be responsible for significantly expanding headcount from a single site contact centre to multi-site operation, through the use of external BPO’s and further in-house contact centres, addressing immediate challenges around language skills and retention, creating and delivering strategic initiatives to help the business scale and continuously improving the customer experience. You will develop effective work flows, processes and procedures, seek improvements to service performance, driving financial performance and team development.

European Reginal Service Director skills required

• Significant contact centre management experience, multi-site and European/Global experience preferred
• Experience of in-house and managed outsourced contact centres would be an advantage (but either or will be considered)
• A track record of creating and delivering strategic initiatives to address common problems in contact centre environments
• Strong commercial acumen and leadership skills

European Regional Service Director additional information

A highly competitive salary and bonus incentive which will be tailored to the individual subject to experience.

You will ideally be based in an area where Edinburgh is commutable, however we will also consider candidates in different locations should you have the flexibility to stay away mid-week at least for the first 6 months while you embed yourself into the organisation after which it could be part Edinburgh, part remote.
