THE JOB
This is a great opportunity if you have experience working for a tour operator as you’ll be making travel arrangements for individuals and small groups of tourists from long-haul destinations to travel throughout the UK and Ireland. You will liaise with tour suppliers and hotels to ensure the successful operation of all tours, using excellent customer service and administration skills throughout, to increase customer satisfaction and gain repeat business.

You will be working for a highly successful and well-established tour operator at their Edinburgh office.

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
*Professional written and spoken English
*Strong knowledge of tourist destinations within the UK and Ireland is essential
*Some experience of handling VIP and/or luxury clientele is desirable
*Experience using Tourplan desirable, very good knowledge of MS Office is essential
*Experience in making inbound travel arrangements for long-haul clientele is highly preferable
*Excellent customer care and communication skills
*Excellent organisational skills with good attention to detail
*Team player able to work in a busy environment
