Destination Asia is hiring a Head of Customer Service Delivery – Thailand to lead and be directly responsible for all aspects of DA’s Customer Service strategy across Thailand setting unrivalled standards of excellence within the industry. This person will have direct responsibility for the management of products and services offered throughout our customer’s journey once within the destination. They are responsible to ensure that the customer is provided with the best services possible, that revenue opportunities are maximized, and that the customer is delighted with their overall experience with Destination Asia.
Head of Customer Service Delivery – Thailand is expected to work closely with Operations, Product, Business Development and Reservations & Quotations as the function is responsible for driving customer experience and satisfaction throughout the guest’s entire journey.
In addition to the above we require the following:
Experience in the Travel or Tourism Industry, with at least 5 years in a management position in customer service and sales within a multicultural/multinational organization.
Requires strong leadership and proven training and coaching experience.
Detailed destination and product knowledge of Thailand or South East Asia.
In depth knowledge of the functioning of all units within a DMC.
Able to work within a fast-paced environment, adaptable to changing circumstances including being available 24/7 (via mobile phone) in an emergency. Experience in crisis management advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Thai language will be an advantage though not mandatory).
