Head of IT – Travel Industry – Brighton/Hybrid. A fantastic opportunity to join a well established and reputable travel business in the Brighton areas where you will oversee their entire technical stack and connectivity partners to drive innovation and strategic growth.
Head of IT Responsibilities
You will be responsible for leading a team of developers, architects, project manager and testing teams, contributing too and delivering the strategic roadmap. You will manage the budget for all IT expenditure, oversee IT operations ensuring you prioritise both short term needs and long term objectives. You will be accountable for all IT solutions and services including testing and sign off, seeking out business process improvements, motivating developing and growing the team.
Head of IT Skills Required
- Experience managing front and back end development teams (they use PHP / MSSQL)
- Experience working for a company that develops web based applications
- Experience and knowledge of API and XML integrations with third party companies
- Experience in the travel in industry preferred but other sector experience also considered
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Experience of budget management and contributing to strategic business initiatives
Head of IT Additional Information
A competitive basic salary to be discussed on application and subject to experience. Discretionary bonus, 25 days holiday + birthday/bank holidays. The role can either be fully or hybrid (3/2 split) based in Brighton.
