Job Description

GCS Recruitment is searching for an IT Helpdesk Agent to work with one of the leading software companies in Malta.

Responsibilities:

Serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
Ensuring great customer service is always provided
Establishing and maintaining positive client relationships
Carrying out problem management and end-to-end problem ownership
Conducting testing on future software updates
Identifying and suggesting possible improvements on procedures
Creating tickets for issues and bugs
Providing client-based full training of the software
Occasionally participating in scheduled off-shift support

Requirements:

A degree in Computer Science or a related field would be considered an asset
Previous experience within a similar role would be ideal
Professional and proactive attitude with eagerness to learn
Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
Knowledgeable in both the Maltese and English language is essential
Well organised and a skilled multitasker
Team player
