GCS Recruitment is searching for an IT Helpdesk Agent to work with one of the leading software companies in Malta.
Responsibilities:
- Serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
- Ensuring great customer service is always provided
- Establishing and maintaining positive client relationships
- Carrying out problem management and end-to-end problem ownership
- Conducting testing on future software updates
- Identifying and suggesting possible improvements on procedures
- Creating tickets for issues and bugs
- Providing client-based full training of the software
- Occasionally participating in scheduled off-shift support
Requirements:
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field would be considered an asset
- Previous experience within a similar role would be ideal
- Professional and proactive attitude with eagerness to learn
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- Knowledgeable in both the Maltese and English language is essential
- Well organised and a skilled multitasker
- Team player
