Marketing Director – North West England. A fantastic opportunity to join this highly reputable travel business where you will lead on their marketing strategy, working in collaboration with the senior leadership team to drive revenues and market share.

Marketing Director Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you create and deliver the overall marketing strategy including brand, campaigns, PR, advertising. events, partnerships, brochures, social media and digital. You will work closely with the Sales Director on trade incentive programmes and brochure distribution, be responsible for the marketing budget, developing a sizeable team to ensure they are meeting objectives and representing the marketing function at senior level meetings. We are looking for a data centric and commercially astute marketing professional who can demonstrate ROI, ensuring resources are allocated in ways that deliver the best returns.

Marketing Director Skills Required

• A number of years experience operating at a Head of Marketing / leadership level within a sizeable organisation
• A track record of leading teams
• Experience of B2B Marketing and Brochure production, ideally gained in the travel industry but other similar sectors such as retail will also be considered
• Commercial acumen in decision making
• Experience managing budgets
• Broad multi-channel marketing experience
• Marketing degree and professionally accredited qualifications

Marketing Director Additional Details

On offer is a competitive basic salary to be discussed on application and in line with experience, private medical, life assurance, 25 days holiday. There is some flexibility around remote working but this will need to be office based at least 3 days a week.
