Job Description

If you are passionate about the travel industry and have a great range of contacts, love marketing, events and the travel media this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key part in the continued growth of this exciting marketing and events business and take it to its next phase of growth.   You will be well networked across a range of travel brands and products with a proven track record in marketing communications, digital marketing, events management and PR.  As well as fantastic industry knowledge you will have a good understanding of the media landscape in travel, journalists, influencers, bloggers and vloggers.  Experience of planning and executing successful virtual events to meet the challenges of the current environment would be extremely useful

 

  • Good all-round marketer with experience of event management and PR marketing communications
  • A thorough knowledge of the travel industry across all sectors and both trade and consumer media
  • Good strategic and people skills – an accomplished networker with a sound understanding of building strong commercial relationships
  • Compelling presentation skills, excellent written and verbal skills
  • A proactive approach to driving new business initiatives – a can-do attitude and a good team-player.
  • Highly commercial and creative with a keen eye for joint venture marketing opportunities and sponsorship
  • Numerate and good at managing budgets, meeting deadlines, and creating innovative events

The ideal candidate will have marketing experience gained within a b2B travel, media, and/or digital environment. Previous experience of working in a b2b environment would be useful.
