Job Description

Our client, an international tourist board,  is looking for a Marketing & Public Relations Senior Executive to join their team, based in London’s West End. The focus of the role will be to support the marketing manager and to implement imaginative consumer and trade campaigns.  This role will also draft and distribute consumer & media communications including newsletters.  Also, this role will be responsible for content management, administration and monitoring the performance of websites, including social media. Other responsibilities include establishing good relationships with journalists, influencers and PR agencies and also co-ordinating itineraries and accompanying the media on trips to the destination. The ideal candidate will have the full marketing mix or be a or a specialist in one discipline, keen to develop their full marketing skills.

  • Educated to a degree level with excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Solid experience in a PR  & or marketing role with a good understanding of digital marketing principles, public relations & social Media
  • Experienced in project management and able to multi task
  • Knowledge of the following software packages essential:  Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, WordPress CMS, Google Analytics or similar web analytics
  • Analytical with a head for numbers
  • Creative with strong writing skills – able to create engaging content
  • Can bring an established network of media contacts ideally in lifestyle and travel media
  • KPI-driven and able to work towards targets and performance
  • Ability to work willingly and under own initiative.
