GCS Recruitment are searching for a Media Team Leader to work with one of the leading online financial service companies in Malta.

Responsibilities:

• Attending strategy meetings and brainstorming new ideas
• Developing the media strategy of the department, while using a very wide variety of channels
• Coordinating launch of media campaigns with marketing, communications, and sales departments
• Monitoring buying strategies
• Monitoring and optimizing effectiveness of campaigns
• Building and maintaining relationships with media sales companies
• Negotiating rates with media sales companies to obtain most competitive prices
• Managing the advertising monthly budget
• Building, coaching and leading a team of Media Buyers
• Providing training and supervising media department employees
• Reporting to management

Requirements:

• Previous experience within a managerial position is considered an asset
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the Marketing industry
• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
• Knowledge of the German language is a plus
• Ability to nurture long-term relationships
• Natural leader who displays strong decision-making and attention to detail
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills
• Ability to work independently, as well as within a team
• Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
• Ability to keep calm when faced with tight deadlines
