PR Account Director – Travel Sector – Remote / London – £45-50k. This independent and award winning PR and Communications agency are seeking a PR Account Director to join the team in a leadership capacity where you will be responsible for managing and overseeing client campaigns whilst contributing to the growth of the organisation. The role can be mainly remote with occasional meetings/time spent in London both with the team and clients.

PR Account Director Responsibilities

You will be for leading a travel team of around 3, responsible for delivering first class media strategies for clients that include international tourism boards, hotels and resorts. You will account manage existing clients whilst supporting the business pitch for and win new clients, you will coordinate all PR activities, leverage existing media relationships, organise and attend press trips, evaluate opportunities for partnerships/sponsorships/advertising, content creation and monitoring PR results.

PR Account Director Skills Required

• A strong background working in PR and Communications in the travel agency (agency or in-house)
• Excellent network of travel journalists and wider media
• Excellent client management skills
• Experience in developing new business, client pitches, managing RFP’s
• High levels of interpersonal and communications skills
• Experience leading or mentoring other team members
• Commercially astute

PR Account Director Additional Details

The salary on offer is in the region of £45-50k, dependent on experience
The role can mainly be home based so long as you are able to attend occasional meetings in London
Monday-Friday 8-5/9-6.
