About the Opportunity
Discova is looking for a Product and Contracting Executive to join the team Singapore. We believe that a strong focus on developing and contracting unique and irresistible product is the key to our success. This is why you will work closing with the Regional General Manager and Regional Product Development Manager to consistently develop inspiring single day experiences and multiday touring that suits Discova’s clients across the world. You will need to be in touch with the latest travel trends and be able to instantly convert these trends into exciting products, that address gaps in the market and gives Discova our unique difference.

Continuous product research & development, to deliver unique experiences while maximizing profitability.
Live the product strategy ensuring Discova has a competitively priced and comprehensive offer matched to sales demand and targets.
Conduct competitor research and benchmarking for new products to ensure Discova’s offer is relevant, competitive, and unique for our different sales markets and partners.
Manage the Product Lifecycle from the development though to implementation, marketing and the commercial and operational success of new travel products.
Ensure and audit products in compliance with Discova’s health and safety standards. And monitor the success and profitability of new product and ensure sales are channeled to core suppliers.
Live and breathe Responsible travel policies and encourage others to do the same.
Develop lasting relationships with suppliers to ensure Discova’s clients receive excellent on-the-ground support.
Conduct training sessions for staff, agents/operators and be a knowledge bank for Singapore.
A Bachelor degree or at least 2 years in the industry working in product development and management.
An understanding of the inner workings of the travel industry and comprehensive travel industry knowledge.
A strong eye for creativity.
An excellent knowledge of Singapore.
Adept at being able to articulate the benefits of our own products both in writing and verbally.
Solid collaboration and communication skill (verbal and written).
An experienced and confident presenter.
Love the thrill of the hunt and get a buzz from win-win negotiations
Understanding of the consumer behaviours in tourism.
Attention to details and preciseness in maintaining record and database.
Well-developed and problem-solving skill.
Customer centric with commitment to high standards of service delivery.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills across culture.
High attention to details & strong time/priority management skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Flexible rotating roster that may include late nights, weekends and early mornings and flexible with uncertainties/changing priorities and under pressure.
