A successful and well-established independent travel company is currently seeking an experienced retail manager to join one of their largest and awarded stores based in Worcester.

With a dedicated customer network and a loyal work force at the forefront of this independent travel company, they are seeking a strong retail and travel manager to lead, motivate, develop and grow the business and brand around the local market. This leading independent retail travel company realise that the quickest way to grow their company is to grow their people. In addition to their bespoke training and personal career development, their teams have the freedom to not only sell but, also experience the best available products on the market.

This is a rare opportunity and one not to be missed if you are looking for not only a challenge but the opportunity to lead one of the largest stores within the company. Very experienced Deputy Managers and Acting Retail Managers may also be considered

The successful candidate will be awarded a salary of up to £31K with excellent bonus scheme and company/travel benefits.

Retail Travel Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead the branch to exceed sales targets whilst helping to grow the brand in Worcester
• Deliver and exceed branch performance and productivity
• Contribute towards the sales and profitability of the business
• Implement new, alternative and innovative ideas of achieving new business
• Train, motivate, mentor and lead a team of 10 travel consultants all eager to develop

Retail Travel Manager Requirements:

• Experience as a Retail Travel Manager within a retail travel environment
• Excellent knowledge of the travel industry
• Be able to demonstrate management skills in sales and customer service coaching/training and performance management
• The ability to develop footfall for the store and increase local awareness of the brand
