Travel Trade Sales Manager – A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager / Head of Sales to join a highly reputable, global company within the travel industry based near Brighton. You will be responsible for leading a small team and selling to the travel trade including tour operators, travel agencies, OTA’s, Bedbanks and Membership organisations.

Travel Trade Sales Manager Responsibilities

This is a national role where you will be leading a small team and managing the performance of trade partner distribution. You will be responsible for managing existing partners as well as actively seeking new trade partners to work with. Using your knowledge of this sector you will create and implement the national sales plan, ensure product knowledge is sufficient and maximise sales through the trade. You will oversee lead generation, pipeline management, RFP responses, defining the trade strategy and reporting to the board on performance. You will also represent the business at trade events, conferences and exhibitions.

Travel Trade Sales Manager Skills Required

• Must have previous experience selling in to the UK travel trade with existing contacts across the different market segments.
• Strong commercial focus with market and trading knowledge
• An understanding of OTA’s and dynamic packaging
• Team management / leadership skills would be an advantage
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Flexibility to travel across the UK
