I am currently seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking individual with good communication skills and customer service experience with knowledge of the Travel Industry to join a very successful company currently looking to expand their Business Development and Sales Team. As Sales Support you’ll be responsible for developing, maintaining and ensuring the Business Development Team is running smoothly and efficiently.

This would be a good opportunity for someone who is working within administration, sales support or someone who is looking to take a step into Business Development as there are great progression opportunities internally.

Sales Support Responsibilities:

• Manage the day to day workload of the department and be first point of call for general escalations
• Ensure the team are prepared for client visits and provide the Business Development Team with updates/feedback
• Represent the company at Trade Events in a professional manner
• Attend internal meetings and feedback relevant intel to the team
• Set up new accounts (new clients) and look out for cross selling opportunities on products in order to maximise sales

Sales Support Requirements:

• Be comfortable communicating through a variety of methods such as telephone, email and face to face
• Ability to organise inboxes and take on various responsibilities
• Be able to support the Business Development Team and help to achieve set goals
• Confident in delegating emails/tasks to other members of the Business Development Team
• Be able to work under pressure with strong organisational skills
