Our client is a leader in its’ field and is looking for an experienced sales and account professional to head up a team of 3 regional sales managers with responsibility and ownership of the relationships with key trade partners and head office commercial negotiations. You will plan and optimise sales activities and resources to maximise customer engagement through existing partners in addition to identifying new high value trade customers. You will develop a fully integrated sales and marketing field plan and work closely with other Heads of Sales in the business to ensure a cohesive strategy and focus on all appropriate channels and trade partners. Working in a high energy and demanding sales environment, you will thrive on delivering results and motivating others to achieve goals.
- Team Management – Plans and utilises field sales resource in order to deliver account plans and results
- Motivational – self-motivated, motivates their team and takes the team on the journey
- Enthusiastic – Demonstrates passion and enthusiasm and is eager and excited towards own goals
- Highly analytical
- Takes initiative – understands what needs to be accomplished and proceeds within the accountabilities of the job
- Organised and methodical approach
- Tenacious sales style
- Proven success in managing and motivating a sales team
- Proven success in the development of account management and acquisition strategy
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience at Account Management level
- Experience of working in a matrix organisation is preferable
