BUSINESS TRAVEL CONSULTANT – KENT – COMPETITIVE

One of the UK’s leading independent business travel agencies (part of the elite Focus Partnership) are seeking an experienced business travel consultant to join their team. They are based in North Kent, close to Dartford and Gravesend

Minimum 5 years’ BT experience, preferably on Amadeus but not essential.
The type of person they are looking for is very personable and capable of motivating and leading the team, as well as supporting the BT manager. You need to have a sound business acumen and know how to identify to maximise money making opportunities.

BUSINESS TRAVEL CONSULTANT-ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Creating bespoke and complex itineraries
• Booking all aspects of travel including air, rail, hotel and ancillary services
• Liaising with clients and suppliers via email and telephone
• Supporting other members of the team
• Providing end to end support to the customer

BUSINESS TRAVEL CONSULTANT – EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in business travel
• Complete working knowledge of a GDS (Amadeus preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and a complete commitment to accuracy
• Ability to be flexible and multi task, and work to tight deadlines
• Ability to communicate across all levels of the business
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent ICT skills
