The Job
A leading tour operator in Leicestershire are looking for an experienced Commercial Aviation Manager in this exciting, newly created role. Within this role you will lead the Commercial Aviation team to identify commercial opportunities, negotiate and maintain the Commercial Airline portfolio for their travel product. In addition you will develop strong relationships with airlines which enable durable commercial decisions, create opportunities to improve processes, maximise margins and increase marketing contributions. You will also be responsible for financial planning, managing costs and resources to budget.

What experience do I need?
*Experience working in the travel industry is essential, preferably with a tour
operator background
*Strong negotiation skills
*Effective stakeholder management
*Commercial awareness
*Excellent communicator, comfortable with communicating at all levels of a business
and can build strong relationships
*Proven influencing and leadership experience
*Highly numerate with a methodical and analytical approach
*Strategically minded, able to challenge and identify opportunities to improve
processes
*Knowledge of Travelink is desirable
