Primary Objectives
- Manage and supervise the Operation Department in Vietnam to ensure the operation of the Operation Department in a consistent and effective way
- Ensure that all the procedures and processes are well implemented to satisfy customers
- Support and coordinate with other departments to encourage synergies and maintain the collaboration with relevant departments in carrying out processes, and find out what factors need to change in a timely manner
Job Descriptions
Manage and supervise the Operation Department in Vietnam:
- Review the Inspection report and Operation Department’s performance report of the Operation Manager in Vietnam
- Create budget plan and development plan for the Operation Department
- Create and implement appropriate performance indicators, common procedures and tools for the Operation Department
- Advise and recommend operating activities to the BOM, recruitment, selection of strategic partners and other activities to improve the quality of services
- Oversee the procedures and policies concerning the Operation Department
- Proactively identify and implement solutions to constantly improve service levels and performance
- Perform finance management:
- Manage vendor relations and prices
- Perform HR management:
- Assess goals, coach, mentor and review appraisal process of the Operation Manager in Vietnam
- Approve reward and discipline for Operation Department in Vietnam
- Directly participate in the recruitment and termination in Vietnam
Communicate with other Departments
- Recommend and assist the Product Department with product updates and product creations
- Participate in inspection or business trips for other departments
- Coordinate with other related departments to ensure the quality of operation activities
- Encourage synergies with other destinations / departments by sharing best practices and seeking continuous improvements on a daily basis
Job Requirements
- Fluent in English
- Strong knowledge of the Tourism field, Hotel and Tourism Management
- Good leadership and management skills
- Creative, dynamic, good knowledge about products and destinations in Vietnam
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills and strong decision-making skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong planning and organisational skills to balance and prioritize work
- Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects
- Characteristics: pleasant personality, positive attitude, open-minded, honest, active and decisive
- University: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Hotel / Tourism / Foreign languages / Economy or other related fields
- At least five years of experience in Operation and Management in the tourism industry
