Corrections & Fact-Checking Policy

At Travel Daily Media (TDM), we strive to deliver the highest standard of accuracy, truthfulness, and integrity in our reporting. Because news moves rapidly across global travel sectors, errors of fact can occasionally occur. When they do, our unwavering policy is to acknowledge, rectify, and explain them promptly and transparently.

Spotted an Error in Our Coverage?

Submit an immediate correction report via our Online Error Reporting Form or email our desk at [email protected].

1. How We Handle Corrections

We distinguish clearly between substantive factual corrections, contextual clarifications, and routine typographical fixes:

A. Substantive Factual Corrections

When an article contains a significant factual error—such as an incorrect executive title, misstated financial figure, wrong company name, mistaken flight route, or incorrect date—our editors:

  1. Immediately correct the text within the body of the article.
  2. Append a clear Correction Notice at the bottom of the article specifying the date of correction, the error that was made, and the verified fact.

B. Clarifications

If reporting is factually accurate but may be interpreted ambiguously or lacks crucial context, we update the passage and append an explanatory Clarification Note at the foot of the article.

C. Minor Typographical Updates

Routine corrections of spelling, grammar, punctuation, or formatting that do not change the meaning or substance of the story are updated silently without a formal editor’s note.

2. How to Submit a Correction Request

We welcome and encourage feedback from readers, corporate representatives, airline and hospitality PR professionals, and industry observers. To ensure fast resolution, please provide:

  • The exact URL of the article in question.
  • The specific paragraph, sentence, or figure you believe is inaccurate.
  • The correct, verified information supported by primary documentation (such as an official press release, regulatory filing, or corporate website link).
  • Your name, organization, and contact details.

3. Review & Resolution Timeframe

All correction reports received are logged and investigated against original source materials by an editorial team member within 24 to 48 business hours. If an error is verified, the live article is updated immediately, the editor’s note is attached, and server caches are purged.
