Our client is a long established and forward thinking luxury travel company that offers an array of destinations across the globe including the Caribbean, Africa, Latin America, Indian Ocean, USA and Asia.
Due to remarkable growth, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Product Executive for the Caribbean, Africa & Asia.
The main objective is to maximise sales year on year and help support the development of the product portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity for a travel product professional to join a leading tour operator in which you will be rewarded career progression and a generous salary.
As a Senior Product Executive you will undertake an array of tasks & responsibilities:
Negotiating hotels rates, allocations and favourable conditions. Ensuring that all contracts are received and contract conditions are met
Co-ordinate and sub-manage the websites with up to date content and information on the products being sold
Assist the team to be thorough and drive sales through the new online bookable site via effective use of budgets and pay per clicks
Support the Commercial Director in contracting
Facilitate brochure production for various destinations and resorts. Duties will include writing copy, proof reading, pricing and planning of resorts to include in the brochure and to see the production through to completion
Follow through on offers and help monitor incentive contracts with suppliers
Essential Requirements:
Product experience within the travel industry is a must
Knowledge of the following destinations – Africa, Caribbean, Mexico and/or USA
Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills
Second language proficiency would be an advantage
Good knowledge of Windows based applications.
Good organisational, negotiating and analytical skills.
Basic knowledge of revenue management.
