Job Description

Trade Partnerships Director – North West England / Hybrid. A superb opportunity to take up this highly visible role within the UK travel industry where you will be leading a high performing, b2b sales team at this award winning travel company. You will ensure agency partnerships are built on the foundation of professionalism, quality service and commercial viability.

Trade Partnerships Director Responsibilities

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will contribute to the overall business strategy, lead on the sales and distribution strategy, maintaining your focus on the retention and growth of existing business as well as the acquisition of new customers.

You will identify and exploit new routes to market and growth opportunities, take a lead on the incentive and commercial propositions, overseeing distribution partnership relationships from set-up through to performance goals and maximising revenue. You will be responsible for the sales P&L (cost and revenue streams), providing direction and line management to the team and represent the business at industry events/conferences.

Trade Partnerships Director Skills Required

  • Must have a significant amount of b2b sales leadership experience gained in the UK travel industry (from sizeable businesses)
  • Previous accountability and ownership of sizeable P&L’s
  • Track record of developing relationships and influencing trade partners
  • Leadership and people management experience
  • Excellent negotiator and commercially astute
  • Flexible to travel both nationally and internationally

Trade Partnerships Director additional details

A highly competitive basic salary to be discussed on application and dependent on experience plus car allowance and bonus.

The role will be required to be office based in the North West of England 1-2 days a week, when not travelling for events/conferences/meetings.
