Travel Account Manager
Are you an experienced travel consultant looking for a change? Join our dynamic sales team is this customer centric role where you will grow your network while representing an industry leading travel-tech platform across a national portfolio of clients.
The Role
As the Account Manager for Tramada you will be reporting into the Head of Sales & Account Management (AU) responsible across the following Key Result Areas:
Client Account Management – ensuring client satisfaction and establishing and maintaining strong relationships is critical to the success of the team. This involves understanding client portfolios (drivers, goals, challenges), identifying opportunities to assist with closing the sales on complex module / data feed solutions for clients, embracing a partnership approach to conducting business, management of the renewal pipeline, and keeping clients up to date with major system changes and new product information.
Industry & Product Knowledge – you will maintain up to date knowledge of current trends, activities, acquisitions and general changes within the travel industry, regularly build your Tramada product knowledge, attend roadmap and release meetings and stay abreast of current and future developments and product enhancements.
Teamwork & Collaboration– outside the mechanics of this position is the responsibility to collaborate across the business, represent Tramada at industry functions, promotions and general marketing initiatives, set the right example that embraces innovation, efficiency, passion, drive and execution excellence and a solution selling mindset.
The Person
You have a hunger to drive and grow the business through effective relationship management, are solutions orientated and have the ability to think on your feet. You possess great commercial acumen, are a strategic thinker with a passion to innovate who wants to make a genuine contribution to the business. You seek ownership and accountability, have excellent organisation, time management and written and verbal communication skills. With a high level of attention to detail, you also have great personal presentation and are receptive to and encourage feedback.
What YOU need
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a account management or travel consultant role. You have experience in managing business relationships, driving growth with new and existing clients and a strong understating of the travel industry. You also have flexibility to travel inter-state and overseas.
Travel technology &/or accounting related software experience is highly desirable as is knowledge of tramada® or other mid office systems along with exposure to GDS or OBE’s.
