Job Description

Travel Customer Experience Consultant
A successful award-winning company based in the Manchester area are recruiting for an experienced Travel Customer Experience Consultant to join their team. This role will be responsible for the customer experience journey, including any additional pre travel services /upgrades and gaining customer insight and feedback. dealing with any post travel complaints, whilst working closely with internal departments and third-party suppliers to resolve any issues . This role will be office based in Greater Manchester and will be working hours Mon-Sat 9-5.30 (5 days per week) and offers a salary up to £26,000

Travel Customer Experience Consultant Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for all post travel Customer Service matters, ensuring all issues are fully investigated and written replies are given within set timescales.
  • Deal promptly with in-resort issues and questions, liaising with service providers and clients to ensure that the matter is dealt with and resolved in a timely manner
  • Work closely with other internal departments to constantly review product and procedures and be reactive when changes are required.
  • Monitor all client questionnaires, responding to comments where necessary.
  • Have a clear understanding of travel industry regulations and always operate with company and industry guidelines.
  • Help to provide the added extras and arrange additional services including restaurant reservations, Airport transfers/parking , private guides.
  • To assist as part of the Duty Manager/Out of Hours team

Travel Customer Experience Consultant skills required:

  • Experience working within a role of Customer Service Consultant, Customer Service Manager within travel industry ideally Tour Operation
  • Confident investigating customer service issues and resolving these within set timescales using ABTA/ATOL guidelines
  • Excellent written skills and a strong communicator, with the ability to respond to clients verbally and in writing
  • Ability to manage a busy and varied workload, with excellent organisation skills
