Job Description

Seeking a Tour Operator Systems Executive for a well-established and specialist flight consolidator based in Cheshire with competitive salary and company benefits.

Due to continued growth my client has a unique opportunity for a Tour Operator Systems Executive or Travel Systems Advisor or Travel Helpdesk Consultant to join the systems based team close to Cheshire Oaks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has great knowledge of the Travel Industry and strong customer support skills looking to join an expanding and highly successful business.

The successful candidate would be providing support to the different departments within the company and be recognised as a subject matter expert for Travel Systems such as Travelink. This could be through investigating technical queries and problems, assisting in the day to day usability of the Travel System making sure they are running smoothly and liaise with System Development Teams suggesting practical improvements.

Tour Operator Systems Executive Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and be recognised as a subject matter expert for Travelink and associated systems
  • Be the first point of contact for other departments when they require assistance on travel systems
  • Investigate technical queries and problems
  • Assist in day to day usability of travel systems, their business processes and enhancements
  • Assist with the development and testing of new systems functionality and user acceptance testing of update and new releases

Tour Operator Systems Executive Requirements:

  • Good knowledge and experience of working with Travelink and other Travel Systems
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Knowledge of a GDS system – booking and pricing flights is desirable (but can be trained)
  • Be able to work with and investigate XML files
