KeyData has launched its Owner Acquisition Platform, a new tool designed to assist US holiday rental managers in identifying high-potential properties. This platform integrates ownership data, OTA performance intelligence, and market insights to streamline the acquisition process.
The platform allows property managers to filter properties based on several performance indicators, such as revenue potential, occupancy rates, location, pricing behaviour, and amenities. It also provides access to verified owner contact details through public records, enabling targeted outreach.
Dustin Downing, CEO of KeyData, highlighted the platform's strategic focus, stating, “There is only so much revenue growth property managers can achieve by optimising the homes they already have. At a certain point, growth comes down to acquiring more inventory, and more importantly, acquiring the right inventory.”
KeyData's platform is powered by its OTA dataset, covering over 3,000 US holiday rental markets. It offers features such as performance-based targeting, interactive discovery workflows, and advanced filtering. The platform is available as an add-on to the KeyData Dashboard and is initially launching across all KeyData-supported US markets.
This development comes as competition in the short-term rental industry intensifies, with property managers seeking sustainable growth by adding strategically valuable homes to their portfolios. The platform aims to provide a more informed approach to property acquisition, moving beyond traditional volume-based strategies
