Marriott Bonvoy partners with ICC for cricket events

Marriott Bonvoy has announced a strategic partnership with the International Cricket Council (ICC), appointing the travel platform as the Official Accommodation Partner for ICC events until 2029. This collaboration aims to provide Marriott Bonvoy's 260 million members with exclusive access to global cricket events, enhancing their travel experiences across continents.

The partnership covers all ICC Men's events over the next four years, including the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka, the ICC World Test Championship Final 2027 in the UK, and the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2027 in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia. With over 450 properties in these regions, Marriott is well-positioned to accommodate teams, fans, and members travelling for the games.

Peggy Roe, EVP and Chief Customer Officer of Marriott International, highlighted the growing global fan engagement in cricket, stating, "With more than 2 billion fans globally, we are proud to serve as the ICC's Official Accommodation Partner and look forward to delivering exclusive access and once-in-a-lifetime experiences for our members."

The partnership will also see Marriott Bonvoy and the ICC collaborate on bespoke cricket-related content and local activations to drive member engagement. Rajeev Menon, President of Asia Pacific Excluding China, Marriott International, noted, "The partnership will allow us to push the boundary and deepen engagement in India, Australia, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka where the love for cricket runs deep."

As the partnership unfolds, fans can expect new hospitality offerings at select ICC event venues, further connecting them to the sport they love.
