Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR) has announced a strategic partnership with HXE to bolster its Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) business through digital innovation. This collaboration, launched in August, combines MHR's extensive global hospitality network with HXE's digital MICE platform, aiming to streamline event planning and expand access to qualified MICE opportunities.
The partnership enhances MHR's "Where Business Connects" proposition by integrating HXE's platform tools and client network with MHR's operations. This integration allows participating hotels to focus on converting leads and delivering seamless events, supported by HXE's expertise in lead generation and enquiry management. MHR's portfolio includes over 145 properties in 80 destinations, whilst HXE connects with more than 150,000 hotels and venues, alongside 400,000 corporate clients.
Cinn Tan, Chief Commercial Officer of MHR, highlighted the significance of the partnership, stating, "Our partnership with HXE strengthens our ability to capture qualified demands from leading MICE sourcing platforms, creating an additional channel to drive meetings and events business across our global portfolio."
The collaboration is set to enhance the efficiency of MICE operations, offering a more connected and commercially effective ecosystem for planners, hotels, and corporate clients. Liang Yang, CEO of HXE, noted the partnership's potential to integrate digital customer acquisition and service with offline experiences, providing faster access to MHR's hotels in major cities like Singapore, New York, and London.
This strategic move supports MHR's broader strategy to solidify its position in the global meetings and events sector whilst aiding HXE's international expansion
