Moxy Hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s extensive portfolio, has launched its latest venture, Moxy Niseko Village, in Japan's premier skiing destination. The 310-room hotel, located adjacent to the Niseko Village Gondola, provides direct ski-in/ski-out access, catering to travellers seeking both adventure and relaxation in the heart of Niseko.
"Moxy Niseko Village reflects the evolution of travel today, where guests are seeking authentic places, flexible experiences and meaningful opportunities to connect," said Cristiano Rinaldi, Chief Lodging Product & Services Officer, Asia Pacific excluding China, Marriott International. The hotel aims to blend Moxy’s vibrant social atmosphere with the natural beauty of Hokkaido, offering a unique stay experience.
The hotel features three dining venues, a 24/7 fitness centre, and a social hub designed to foster interaction among guests. Moxy Bar serves as a lively meeting point, whilst the Moxy Bar & Cafe and Moxy Grab & Go provide diverse dining options. Guests can also enjoy an outdoor foot onsen, perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes.
Moxy Niseko Village is strategically positioned within the Niseko Village ski resort, offering year-round activities such as skiing, hiking, and golf. The opening coincides with the launch of a new eight-person gondola in December 2026, enhancing access to the area's extensive ski terrain.
Panch Ratnavale, Captain of Moxy Niseko Village, expressed excitement about the opening, stating, "We are thrilled to welcome guests to Moxy Niseko Village and introduce the brand’s playful, social spirit to one of the world’s most celebrated alpine destinations." This marks the fifth Moxy location in Japan, further expanding the brand's presence in the country
