Following an increased demand for multimedia content from travel agents, Wallington-headquartered British tour operator Newmarket Holidays has launched a bespoke video hub for them. It can be accessed through the operator’s travel agent website and will support agents by providing easy access to best-selling tour videos.
Richard Forde, head of trade sales for Newmarket Holidays said: “This is a great initiative, and we are confident that it will boost what are already very strong trade sales. Agents can share videos of our best-selling tours on their social channels, which will act as a useful marketing tool and help grow their sales. It will also help agents to familiarise themselves with our products and train new staff members.”
Additionally, the company has also announced a commercial services team. Based at its head office in London, the team will be available five days a week to provide support to agents and representatives out on the road. “Investing in the new commercial services team shows how much we value this side of the business. We hope that with the extra support afforded by the new team, commercial and agency sales will continue 2020 exactly as they have begun,” he added.
